What is scrunt? According to the dictionary, scrunt is: (as a noun) a beggar or destitute person; an abrupt, high-pitched sound; or, (in Scottish English) a stunted thing; (as a verb) to beg or to scrounge.
What is gleet? The dictionaries say: (as a noun) inflammation of the urethra characterized by a mucopurulent discharge; the discharge that is characteristic of this inflammation; stomach mucus, especially of a hawk; a chronic inflammation (such as gonorrhea) of a bodily orifice usually accompanied by an abnormal discharge; a thin, morbid discharge, as from a wound; (as a verb) to ooze, as gleet (noun sense); to flow in a thin, limpid humour; of water: to flow slowly.
What does any of that have to do with music? GLEET represents the notion that life is but a thin film of slime upon this rocky planet, and humans have become the Earth's gleet, a chronic infection dribbling toxic ooze down her leg.
We humans have abdicated the running of the planet to the whims of idiots, sociopaths, and psychopaths. We blindly stumble toward, at best, technofeudalism and, seemingly more and more, fascism. Masses are slaughtered while we consult with hollow simulacra built with one goal: profit.
